Setting Up The Connection To Your Website Hosting Service & Uploading Your Website

Finally! You're about to begin the HyperVRE uploading phase!

We'll need to connect to the website hosting service before uploading can begin. Most connections to website hosting services use something called FTP. It stands for File Transfer Protocol and it's the way you need to connect to the website hosting service to upload your HyperVRE website.

To connect with FTP, you'll need a special type of FTP software to connect to your website hosting service. There are very affordable FTP programs out there for both Windows and Mac computers. In fact, both types offer free trials so you can use them to upload your first HyperVRE website completely free. Then, if you keep building a HyperVRE website empire, you'll be raking in tons of cash so dropping a few bucks on the "must have" FTP software will be peanuts.

If you'd rather try some other FTP program, just type "free ftp" into the Google search box in the top left corner of this webpage! You'll get a ton of results and shouldn't have a problem finding one to work with.

Don't worry - Unlike the HyperVRE website hosting services, ALL FTP programs will work with HyperVRE!

Setting Up Your FTP Connection

When you signed up for your website hosting service, you should have received an email with your FTP login and password information. Remember, your website hosting service will give you this critical info - You can NOT upload your website without it.

Like I said, your website hosting service will give you that info. If you can't find it, call or email them. You should write it down and keep it some place safe.

Each of the FTP programs I listed above will work in a similar way. If you get stuck, READ the help files! If you're still stuck, email the customer support or technical support.

I know you can do it! Just take it one step at a time and READ the help files - I can't stress this enough. They will actually HELP you. Trust me, I've been in your shoes...
