Starting your own business is actually easier than you think, and is one of the best ways to make money online. The first thing you have to do is figure out what you want to sell. You'll have to find a niche product that has more demand than there is competition. In order to determine this you may want to purchase a analysis software such as World Wide Brands.

The analysis software will search keywords you select and tell you the success rate of that product. For example if I put in "folding chair" it gives me a success rate of 65% which means I have very good odds at making money with this product.

The next thing you will want to do is make your business legal. This is really a pretty simple process. Do some research to decide whether you want your company to be a sole proprietorship, LLC, or corporation. Then you can go on Legal Zoom and quickly fill out the information. This is a very important step as you will not be able to get merchandise to sell from wholesalers unless you are a legitimate business.

The next step is to go to your local county officials office and file for a business license. You just have to bring in your documentation from legal zoom and you should be able to get your business license within a couple of days.

On your business license will be your state tax ID number. This is what you will need to give to wholesalers to set up accounts with them. To find wholesalers you will have to sign up for a wholesale /dropship directory. Again World Wide Brands offers this service and they are excellent. Just type in the key word of what you would like to sell and a list of wholesalers will come up with their websites and information on how to set up an account with them.

Once you have set up accounts with wholesalers you can sell merchandise on Ebay or Amazon. These are terrific ways to make money online as a turn key ecommerce business!

Once you are making steady income on Ebay or Amazon you can consider opening your own website to be a bit more professional.
